I'm Callum, a 4th year games programmer at Abertay.
I worked with a team of designers, artists and another programmer to create Half-Baked, a VR Puzzle game where the player must use their arms to move. I was the Gameplay and SFX Programmer, tasked with creating the majority of puzzle elements and game objects such as doors and levers. Half-Baked was created in collaberation with NearLight and got to the interview stage of DARE Academy.
A third person horror game developed in Unreal. I developed the Enemy AI, created the menus and implemented the sound.
A first person fishing game developed in Unreal. I developed the player character and some items that could be caught.
A first person horror game developed in Unreal. I developed the interactables, the day system, the 'current task' mechanic and the ending.
A platformer made using unity where dying creates a platform to stand on. I created the player and camera system, the death platforms, checkpoints and was the main level designer.
A first person slender clone made in Unity. I developed the loss condition, flickering lights and was the main level designer.
A 2D platformer created in Gamemaker 2. Created for a Game Development College Course at UHI. Solo Project.
A stealth game developed in Unreal. The player must look through security cameras to find their way through the level. I developed the player movement, menus and goal.
A top down shooter made in Gamemaker 2. Every few seconds a random unstable effect occurs. Created for Ludum Dare 49. Solo Project.
An NES inspired turn-based RPG with a limited colour palette. Developed with Gamemaker 2. Solo Project.
A 2D Platformer created with Gamemaker 2. Every few seconds the player explodes. Solo Project.
